MIT OpenCourseware : Unlocking knowledge, Empowering minds

MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is truely a world leader in the field of technological research and academia. Entry to this institute is highly competitive which ensures that only the best minds participate in their courses. Notable alumni include Kofi Annan (Former Secretary General of the UN), Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11 Astronaut) and Benjamin Netanyahu (Israeli Prime Minister).

Now you too can share in the MIT experience...

Through its website, MIT offers a facility called Open Courseware (OCW) where non-MIT users can access and download course-notes, exam papers and video.  It is free of charge and does not require registration. The content reflects almost all the undergraduate and graduate subjects taught at MIT such as Architecture & Planning, Engineering, Health Sciences and Management.

Users should note that, whilst virtually all MIT course content is available

OCW does not constitute an MIT education.
OCW does not grant degrees or certificates.
OCW does not provide access to the MIT faculty.
Materials may not reflect entire content of the course.

However, used in conjunction with your own course notes and reading, they may provide a good compliment to your own studies. :-)
