Bring a Book, Buy a Book
Following on from our success last year, where we raised over €400, the library is fundraising again for St Michael's House.
St Michael's House provides services for people with intellectual disabilities.
The Bring a Book, Buy a Book campaign runs from the 3rd to the 10th March. It works like this: students and staff donate their unwanted books (in reasonable condition please) and then buy other donated books, at a cost of €2 each.
If people do not want to buy books, they can make a €2 donation instead by texting SMH to 57502, or by putting their contribution in the boxes provided in the Library.
You can drop any unwanted books into the Library from today.
All proceeds from the campaign will go to this very worthy charity. Hopefully, we will raise even more money than last year.
