Changes are afoot

This summer has brought alot of changes to ITB Library. We hope that they will make it a better service for everyone.



The biggest change is the arrival of SID, or the Student Information Desk. See here to learn how SID can help you. There will now be 2 queues at the Main Desk - one for library queries (such as borrowing and returning books) and one for SID queries (such as requesting stock letters or deferring courses). Follow the signs for the service you need.


We also changed the library layout a little. In response to the noise-level problems we had last year, we have changed the seminar rooms into a space for silent study. So students who prefer to study in a quieter space will use the seminar rooms, and students in other parts of the library will be free to make (a little more) noise.



Finally, we have moved the printers and photocopiers into the main library space. You can now buy print credit at the Shop in Block C from 9am - 5pm each day. Evening Students can buy print credit at the Library Desk from 5pm - 8pm from Monday - Thursday. You can also use your print credit in one of the photocopiers. Photocopy cards can continue to be used in the other photocopier.
